IndiGo Flights to Resume Normal Operations at Patna Airport from December 16

Patna: The ongoing flight cancellation problem at Patna airport for the last ten days had spoiled the travel plans of thousands of passengers. Many people remained stuck in uncertainty until hours before their flights; some had to make alternative arrangements for essential purposes. Meanwhile, the statement of Bhudev Sarkar, General Manager of the Airport Authority of India, has come as a ray of hope for the passengers. He assured that from December 16, all Indigo flights will start operating regularly and the situation will become normal.

Inspection conducted to understand the problems of passengers

On Thursday, Bhudev Sarkar visited Jaiprakash Narayan International Airport. There was daily chaos at the airport due to flights being canceled continuously since December 3. He conducted a detailed inspection to take a closer look at the situation and find solutions to the problems. After the inspection, he told the media that Indigo and the airport management are continuously working in coordination so that the problems of the passengers end soon.

Even on Thursday, five flights were cancelled, which again disrupted the plans of many people. Many passengers waited for hours at the airport; some were searching for the next day's flight, while some were worried about the refund process.

Assurance regarding refund and ticket booking

The Bhudev government said that the financial and mental problems of the passengers are being fully understood. He said that Indigo airline has clearly said that the refund of the flights that have been canceled will reach the accounts of the passengers in two to three days. This assurance is a great relief for those who were facing constant uncertainty.

As soon as flights become normal, passengers will be able to book tickets without any fear. Officials say that important steps are being taken to ensure stability in services, and a review is underway to ensure that such a situation does not happen again.

The airport director shared ground report

Patna Airport Director Chandra Pratap Dwivedi also gave detailed information to the General Manager about the problems being faced in operations and the arrangements made to help the passengers. He said that despite the constantly changing schedule, the staff remained busy handling the passengers and solving their problems.
